EMS Product Improvement Division

It is also in Highlander’s business plan, due to its relationship with Highlander Ambulance Service, to begin an EMS product improvement division. Highlander Industrial Controls will redesign old products through the implementation of new ideas as well as design new products to fit the needs of today’s EMS professionals. Highlander has already designed and implemented two such products and is currently working on a third.

Heat Sink Cooling System for Atlas Copco DMC31025P

Advance Products Corporation uses the DMC family of DC motor drives in several industrial applications. Highlander Industrial Controls acts as the electronic repair facility for Advance Products. The DMC family of drives has been problematic for quite some time and the repair and failure of these drives has occurred at a rather alarming frequency. Highlander Industrial Controls has identified several problems with the drives in question and repaired them accordingly. However, Highlander has also identified heat as a major proponent in drive failure. Therefore, Highlander has designed and testing a thermoelectric cooling system that will combat and perhaps eliminate heat as a problem.

Platoon Leader Series Robotics

The Highlander Platoon Leader Series of Robotics is intended to provide advance support and protection for manned armored vehicles against enemy infantry, mines, and other remotely operated explosives. It provides yet another layer of defense in depth against a variety of threats. It also provides integrated firepower support to dismounted infantry to suppress or defeat enemy infantry and automatic weapons positions. It also provides armored reconnaissance.
